Mike Blowers (Managing Director)
Mike started working life as a toolmaker with a full engineering apprenticeship. He then went on to work in production engineering for a technology company, later moving into management. From here he had senior positions with an off-shore engineering company followed by key roles in the development and production of fire safety products and water heating systems.

Mike brings a wealth of real-world engineering knowledge and experience, coupled with a rigorous understanding of the commercial issues that underpin successful engineering.

Jane Turrell (Financial/Human Resources Director)
Jane Turrell is the granddaughter of the founder Jack Spinks. Her father, Don Spinks, also worked for the company helping to establish Ladbrook's expertise in the early days. Jane started worked as a PA to the Principal of an English School for foreign students, studied for her exams and then went on to join the company 12 years ago handling payroll and accounts. As Financial/Human Resources Director since 2001, she has helped oversee the transition of the company from the small family business to where it is today. She is a Queen's Guide, she has Grade 8 Pianoforte, enjoys music, sport and laughter and is not so sure about having her photo taken!


Paul Goodman (Manufacturing Director)
Paul's first employer was a small family engineering business in Chesham, Buckinghamshire who manufactured and repaired leaf springs for both cars and commercial vehicles including railway stock. He then spent about 5 years as a centre lathe turner and machinist working with stainless steels for the manufacture of industrial mixing machines for the food, paint and chemical industries. His next employer was Heatrae in Norwich where he was Cell Manager for the machine shop, press shop and finished product lines and later as Material Logistics Manager.

Paul brings a great deal of professional engineering experience and engineering passion to the Ladbrook management team. His understanding of logistics, quality systems and manufacturing ensures that all customer projects are handled in an efficient and effective manner.
